Meet Dr. Eaton
Abigail F. Eaton, D.C. is a December 2005 graduate of National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. Following a well-rounded undergraduate education at a prestigious private university, Valparaiso University, Dr. Eaton entered this doctoral program with enthusiasm and passion for the chiropractic ideology. National University of Health Sciences provided Dr. Eaton with a sound understanding of human anatomy and physiology. The chiropractic program at NUHS is a leader in the profession and is known for its focus on primary care medicine. This program prepares graduating doctors to handle a wide array of health concerns that chiropractic patients may present with. While enrolled in the program, Dr. Eaton took additional courses in orthopedics, pregnancy care, and post-partum care to gain a better understanding of these topics and create a niche in practice in order to serve her patients more effectively. Dr. Eaton has also completed hundreds of hours of study in areas such as neurology, rehabilitation, and biomechanics.
Dr. Eaton has continued to focus her energy on establishing and marketing her unique niche in the profession. Continuing education courses focused on rehabilitation and pregnancy care have allowed the doctor to build relationships with other healthcare professionals and have also helped to establish a referral network with midwives, doulas, and physical therapists in the area. Currently, Dr. Eaton has several Obstetric physicians, midwives, doulas, pre-natal yoga instructors, and physical therapists who exclusively refer pregnant females to her office for chiropractic intervention and pain relief.
In her spare time, Dr. Eaton loves to watch football and is an avid music lover. She loves to attend concerts and sample new local restaurants with her husband, Aaron. Dr. Eaton is the mother of two beautiful little boys, Truett and Mathis, who keep any spare time she has filled with joy and laughter.
